For cyclists, the Tour offers non-competitive 12, 30, 50, 75, and 100 mile bike rides through the scenic Litchfield Hills of Connecticut for riders of all ability levels.

For walkers, the Tour offers 2.4, 4.2 and 8 mile walking routes through downtown Torrington Connecticut.

Thanks to all of our die-hard fans and riders, it was an epic day in the rain on Sunday! We were still able to raise through everyone's combined efforts almost $75,000, which will be given to our beneficiary. Just a big thanks from us to all of you participants who braved the elements to make the day a success. Here's looking forward to next year, August 5th, 2012.

In addition to the parking at the shopping center and the municipal lot behind the library,
there's lots of on-street parking throughout downtown Torrington.

Short Detour Required Near the Start

We were hopeful the CT DOT would have had their work on Route 202 done by the time of the Tour but it's looking like that won't be the case. Because safety is of paramount importance to us and because this route affects the majority of our riders, we've decided on a short detour. This detour is along a quiet country road and only works out to be about a mile longer than the usual route.

The Mission of the Tour

The mission of the tour is to bring together community resources with the common goal of raising funds to support the care, treatment, education and prevention of cancer for residents living, working, or receiving treatment for cancer in Northwest Connecticut. By donating funds to The Center For Cancer Care Fund, Inc., we will have a positive effect locally, in the Northwest corner, as our friends and families battle the disease.
